Priyanka Chopra’s production house Purple Pebble Pictures has been launched in 70th Cannes Festival with half a dozen movie which is already in progress some are in post production where as some are yet to complete and set to realease. The Actor’s mother Madhu Chopra took over as Managing Director of Purple Pebble Pictures and unvieled thier first Sikkemese movie, Pakhi, directed by Pahuna.
“We’ve been enthused by the success of Ventilator to step out into the big wide world of global independent cinema,” Madhu said at an event hosted by the India Pavilion here to unveil the first look of Pahuna.-Indian Express Reported.
She also said it was very challanging to shoot in Sikkim as there is no film city but the Government Of Sikkim extended help to them which was a major motivation. The film is in Post Production and is expected to be completed before Dussehra.
The production is also making an Bengali-Marathi bilingual movie based on a little chapter from Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore’s early life and also a Bhojpuri Movie too.
