Born in a Tamil Brahmin family and brought up in Karol Bagh, New Delhi along with her two elder siblings, Anuradha did her schooling from Delhi. She did her graduation from Delhi University and finished Post Graduation in Public Relations and Marketing from YMCA (Young Men Christian Association).
Armed with a sunny disposition, her pleasant demeanor, friendly temperament and quick wit kept everyone charmed and indulged. Quick to strike a friendly conversation, Anuradha always loves to chat up with everyone. She was often told by friends to become a radio jockey or to join a field which involves communication.
Having finished her post-graduation, Anuradha did part-time jobs. Finally in 2006, Anuradha started her career as an executive with a start-up and slowly went up the ladder by working in various reputed PR agencies i.e. goLinOpinion (earlier known as LinOpinion), A Lintas PR Division and HK Strategies (earlier known as Ipan Hill & Knowlton). She handled clients like Omaxe Constructions, a real estate client, Wigan and Leigh College and a lifestyle brand. Hindware, Carrier Air-conditioners, DishTV , Spice World Mall and also teamed-up with others on various PR events as and when needed. She was recognised by her work and therefore got the opportunity to handle more work under pressure. Anuradha always had potential and interest to learn new things.
Later, due to family commitments, she continued her work as a freelance PR professional and took up small PR projects. Soon, Anuradha started to work as a freelance content writer and extensively wrote for the web, contributed as a ghost writer for international courseware and as a copyeditor for various genres including lifestyle, travel, education, and business listings.
In the year 2014, Anuradha decided to help Karthik Krishnamurthy (her husband) manage Iddly Faktory. She gave up her full time job at a mainstream PR agency to keep his culinary dream aflame. She appreciates good food as much as her husband loves cooking it. You’ll often find her don many hats from a hunter wielding taskmaster, clean-up bot, to a laugh out aloud prankster.
A communication professional and having a decade of mainstream PR experience, Anuradha Karthik, is the co-founder of Iddly Faktory. She currently manages branding, communications, PR and marketing at Iddly Faktory.
