This world heart day, we asked chef Pallavi to help us with a few quick healthy snacks. She recommends 2 yummy options.

Vibrant Chickpea Salad

 

For Salad

Chikpeas 100 g
Cucumber, Chopped 1
Spring Onion, chooped 2
Tomato 1
Pomegranate seeds ½
Pine nuts 3 tbsp.
Extra virgin Olive oil 1tbsp.
Sumac powder 2 tsp.
Lemon juice ½
Honey ½ tsp.

Method

  1. Here is my little trick to make this salad more interesting, heat a pan and drizzle some oil on it and saute the chikpeas sprinkle little paprika powder, salt and pepper, saute till they are slighltly caramelised.
  2. Then in a big plate mix all the ingredients of salad, and for the aromatic finish sprinkle over some parsley and mint. Mix properly. Finally to season drizzle over some olive oil, Sumac Powder, honey, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Tropical Pina Colada

 

 

For Pina Colada

Coconut juice 4 tbsp.
Fresh cream 2 tbsp.
Pineapple juice.

Method

For Pina colada, just take two glasses add 2 tbsp. of coconut juice in each, then add 1 tbsp. of fresh cream in each muddle it. Now pour over pineapple juice and muddle properly, its ready to be served.
